About us
Covering PPA in schools since 2018, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality MFL and Environmental Education cover for all of our partner schools. Two specific programmes are offered – children can follow either a curriculum that offers a combination of a foreign language with an environmental education, or solely a curriculum which teaches about the environment.
Foreign languages
Our PPA Cover and languages clubs from Early Years to Key Stage 2 are available in French, Spanish, Italian, German and Mandarin Chinese. Gramacri is the first education supplier in the UK that combines language learning with environmental education. In other words, we combine the most popular MFL topics with environmental learning to reinforce the importance of environment preservation among young children. Have a look at our Schemes of Work.
All our MFL programmes have been developed in line with the National Curriculum 2014, as well as the Sustainability and Climate Change Policy 2022. They are focused around progression and a different topic is taught each half term. Our teachers and instructors cover a broad range of skills including writing, reading, speaking and listening. We aim to develop language skills as well as learners’ green skills by encouraging them to play their part in halting nature’s decline and climate change.
Environmental learning
We also deliver the highest quality environmental education cover without languages for all of our partner schools. Our teachers and instructors will educate and empower young people to make positive decisions and become change makers for an environmentally sustainable world. We highly believe that it is in our hands to make a difference. Through the introduction of eco-clubs early in 2021 we are now spreading the message to an even bigger audience and starting to embed our message from a much earlier stage.
MFL Deep Dive
We offer Free of charge ‘Preparing for a MFL Deep Dive’ webinars and support to all our partner schools. The Curriculum is at the heart of the new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework. Our programmes include a full curriculum which meets (and exceeds!) Ofsted requirements. We provide robust planning and sequencing documents, mapping each lesson with the appropriate learning intention. We do the heavy lifting for you, so you can focus on delivering our fun interactive lessons, loved by teachers and kids alike!
